| 2012-05-19 Patota. | xnZhrtqRdliMav | I agree! My three year old loves to dance, so you know what we do? We turn on music and she pretends to be a blanerila! She doesn't seem to need lessons and costumes and recitals at this age to have fun. We go to library time every couple of weeks, but that is the extent of our activities. The rest of the time we go play with friends and go to the park. They don't need much in the way of classes at this age. My daughter appears to be thriving despite her lack of formal training.My seven year old has karate and scouts. Karate meets 2-3 times a week so this is PLENTY for us. This is very odd in the town where we live. Even the toddlers I know are in music class, gymboree, play class, swimming, and so on. I think the SAHMs here feel they need to justify their job by keeping the kids busy every second. I always imagine their husbands are secretly cringing at the amount of money going to these classes each month. |
